Ballads rarely mention crossbowmen. They don’t wear banners. They don’t make speeches. And yet… they change the course of battles.
A longbowman trains for years. A crossbowman — for weeks. But underestimate him, and you won’t get a second chance.
Behind the battlements, half-hidden in shadow, he waits. He doesn’t need to expose himself. Just a glimpse, a breath —
Click.
A bolt whistles through the air, and another enemy crumples to the ground.
The reload takes time — but behind stone, he’s untouchable. One shot at a time, he bleeds the siege dry.
Crossbows changed warfare. They ended charges before they began. They made boys into soldiers, and stone walls into death traps.
Some called it dishonorable. Others, unfair.
But when has war ever been fair?
Let poets sing of knights. This one fights in silence — and wins.
4 identical crossbowmen figures
Material: White PLA+
Scale: 1:100 (approx. 18 mm) — fits all Castletecture modules and 15–18 mm tabletop figures
The miniatures are unpainted and ready for customization. You can use acrylic paints, brush pens, or permanent markers — all work well on PLA+.
Some tiny surface imperfections may be present due to the extremely small scale. These don’t affect gameplay and can be gently removed with a modeling knife if needed.
Crossbowmen are best in cover — and terrifying when placed right. Use them to lock down corridors, guard gates, or dominate rooftops.
One well-placed shot is worth a dozen misses.
And remember: glory fades. A clean kill lasts forever.
Fully compatible with all Castletecture wall sections and accessories.
